gay marriage?

Day 63:

My thoughts on gay marriage..

Nope. I'm not going to skip controversial topics.

Therefore a man leaves his father and mother and embraces his wife. THEY become one flesh. - Genesis 2:24

In Genesis 19 Lot, Abraham's nephew, who had been living in Sodom and Gomorrah had two angels of the Lord staying in his house. The angels were there to warn Lot and his family of Sodom and Gomorrah's coming judgment. While the angels were staying there, men of the city came to Lot's house and yelled out to him demanding that he send his visitors out so that they could "have their way with them". The men of Sodom and Gomorrah almost ended up breaking the door down to get past lot, but the angels ended the problem by causing all of the men to go blind. And of course, later Sodom and Gomorrah was completely destroyed NEVER to be rebuilt.

In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. - Jude 1:7

Sodom and Gomorrah weren't destroyed because they were a town full of thieves, murderers, or liars. They were destroyed because they were full of "sexual immorality and perversion". Genesis 19 stands as an example of that perversion. The New American Standard and King James Bibles say they "went after strange flesh" and the International Standard Version states that they "engaged in homosexual activities".

In short, I disagree with gay marriage. It's sinful. God intended for one man and one woman to be together and reproduce.
