utter letdown!

Just got back from seeing the new Twilight movie..Breaking Dawn Part 1.

i...don't even know..

Back in my very exuberant blog post on new movies, this was the one that I was willing to pay like.."big" money to see. Now, I'm very much taking that statement back.


While I could never really understand the whole "i'm totally in love with you..and him..but in a dark, emo sorta way", the movie made me want to...pull my hair out at parts. The wedding..beautiful..best part of the movie..and, unfortunately, right at the very beginning.

The book was pretty ok..and to be honest, the movie pretty much followed the book, but something about it was almost..disgusting to me. Towards the middle, I was wishing it was over...that's not really supposed to happen. Like really.

Maybe, I've "outgrown" my admiration for all things Twilight. No clue. But, one thing's for sure..I'm letdown. Not so much because of the movie..but because my reaction wasn't what I thought it should've been.

I could've gone a lifetime without seeing that movie..ahhhh...why?

Yes, I will be going to see Part 2 when it finally decides to "grace" this earth with it's presence. Why? Because I'm in now..I gotta see this thing through..:P

So, here's to a speedy recovery from watching Part 1..

and

here's to the hope that Part 2 will come out faster, be better, and not disgust me as much as I'm disgusted like right...now.
