friends.

What I think of my friends.

At this point, I have a choice..I can lie..or be straight up.

Eh..I guess I'll be straight up ;)

The Girls:

Morgan, Rachel, Caroline, Imani, Jenna, Sarah

We aren't that bad. Not too dramatic. We don't really have a lot of major fights. Our primary problems stem from "being afraid to hurt feelings" which leads to lack of communication. Other than that, I'd say we're pretty solid.

This is where "being straight up" comes in..we have had a few minute issues here and there over..guys. Nothing big. It was noticeable, but not life-threatening..at least for some of us it wasn't life-threatening (inside joke). Yeah, we never, ever, ever had anyone threaten someone because of a guy..PSHAAW! Like I said..never ;)

Overall, I think we're good though.

The Guys

Joshua, Matthew, David, Andrew, Carson

Thankfully, they're ok. Occasionally, we have some issues with awkwardness. Ok, scratch that. The way I see it, awkward thrives in our church..with the teens. That's just my personal opinion :P Whether it's calling someone fat (yeah, we do that), or obviously double-taking to intercept someone in a hallway (happens), awkward reigns. Yeah, there are moments when things aren't awkward. Lots of them. And maybe it's just me. But those awkward moments almost make me forget the normal moments.

I bet some of them are reading right now going.."what is she talking about". Calling a girl..friend fat out of nowhere is awkward. Asking a friend how to overcome awkwardness is awkward!

True story! It's happened. You know who you are.

Then, there are those foggy areas where one friend..asks you about another friend. You know what I'm talking about. They wanna know how they can make things..'better'..so they come to you because they figure "you're on the inside". That's awkward! '

The verse with the phrase "work out your own salvation!" comes to mind.

In short, yes I do believe we have awkward..ness. Are we worse off than other groups of friends? No. Not really. Could we do better?

HECK YES!

I love my friends, quirks and all..but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to fix them!
