The worst advice I've ever heard or been given.
Well, I come from a "land of independent teenagers". I usually keep my problems between me and my friends. As in, I don't ask my parents or adults for help if I don't have to. It's stupid, I know, but somehow, I feel like adults would laugh if they heard some of my.."on-going dilemmas"..everyone does ;)
To be honest, I don't remember anyone ever giving me really bad advice. Maybe, someone has..but it couldn't have been all that bad considering I don't remember.
I guess telling someone to "give up" is bad advice..in certain circumstances. Telling someone to give up on their dream (school, career wise), that's bad advice. Telling someone to give up on something that you both know will never happen..that mightn't be so wrong.
Like I said, I don't really have memories of being given terrible advice. So, I wouldn't know much on this topic, but yeah.
