fake friends.

Have you ever stopped to think about your friends? Like..are they really what you think they are? Are they really all that trustworthy, kind, funny? Chances are your friends aren't the same way with you that they are with other people. Everyone (including me) has different faces..different personalities..different moods when they're around certain people.

The question is are these faces, personalities, and moods thrown on and off to help the friend or to bring the friend down..

Lately, I've been finding things out about two friends in particular and sometimes it just blows my mind how different they can come across. I mean, they'll say they're upset with me about "such and such a thing" but they never bring it up to me. Instead, they talk about it together ('cause misery loves company) and steam about it and steam about it until one day the "bubble breaks" and everything comes rushing out into one big "heated discussion".

It's true what they say..about relationships. Not just boyfriend/girlfriend relationships but friendship as well. Communication is everything. Everything.

It was so much easier when we were 9, 10, 11. Communication isn't all that necessary when the most important part of your friendship is your friends' favorite color or if you can have your first sleepover sometime...

Now..

It's hardcore "communication is imperative or this friendship will die" stuff. I think what happened with me and these friends is that we lack the ability to communicate our concerns because we're too overly concerned with offending each other. Of course, I'm sitting here wishing that somehow these two people will read this and understand and come talk to me, but the chances are slim.

I'd rather my friends' tell me their problems and risk offending me, then never talk to either of them again..

Right?
