legit weekend.

This weekend..was..pretty cool.

Josh and Morgan's house. Always great. Highlight while being there definitely had to be driving Morgan to drivers ed. Driving Morgan to drivers ed?!! Really! Makes us seem so..old. I don't know whether to laugh about it and like it..or utterly hate it and wish the nostalgic, reminiscent feelings away. So far, it's the 1st of the 2 ;)

The Youth Rally. I really, really liked this one. At the end, I was actually quite disappointed and wished that it would go on for a little while longer..in fact..even now I'm wishing it was still going on. It always goes by so fast :( Luckily, there will be another one..and I'm pretty sure it's close to home..actually it's at home. Reidsville Bible Chapel is hosting the next Spring/Quiz Rally (I'm fairly certain) which means..our quiz team..yeah, we can't lose. We can't be beat at home! Which is why studying began the second we left..or..at least for me it did.

The pond! It's sorta a Reidsville Bible Chapel tradition. We hang out at a friends' pond, eat some really good soup, make s'mores, sing songs, have a 'mini-message', and go for a hayride. This is sorta what lets me know "It's fall!". Sure, the leaves might be changing colors, and the air is a bit cooler..but if we don't go to the pond..fall never really "starts". You know what I mean. Everyone has that thing they do every year and without it..the year (or that time) just doesn't feel quite right. Well, that's "the pond".

Really, I'm not one to brag, and even if I was..I wouldn't have anything to brag about. But this one time..I must inform my 'blogging world'! I didn't even so much as touch a body of water (other than in a canoe and yeah, I showered!) this entire weekend. It was incredible. In fact, I feel like I missed something. Like maybe I was supposed to fall in just because..because! Maybe it's a sign that my klutziness is finally wearing off. Doubtful. Maybe I had some good luck. Even more doubtful. Or maybe it's because the Lord knows that falling into frigid water wouldn't have been at all good for what I'm going through now.

Stopped up, congested, clogged, weird ear. I kid you not, if you came up to me and you were standing on my left side, I would barely be able to hear what you were saying. My left ear has currently decided to 'stop working'. Ear infection? I don't know. What I do know is that falling into a freezing pond or creek wouldn't have aided my current situation. Pneumonia, a crazy cough, and an ear infection is one sure way to end up in the emergency room. Ha..no! Hospitals..my least favorite place to be. Smells weird, looks weird, needles are weird. So before I end up in..afore mentioned place, I must recover from this, hopefully, temporary loss of hearing.

Prayyy!
