"The Truth is Who You Are"

Day 47:


Is the truth always good to hear? Why or why not?




I think it's "good" to hear..but it's not always fun to hear.

Who likes hearing that they're wrong? Who likes hearing that, unless some change is made, their life could be in danger?

No one.


Who likes hearing the truth in a relationship?

Everyone.

When people tell me the truth..and it's something I don't wanna hear..yeah, it's not a great time, but it's far better than being lied to.

One way or another..the truth usually has a way of coming out.

There are so many..painful..truths in life..but there's one that isn't..

"I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life"..

Jesus is truth.

Not "Jesus is truthful". That would be describing Him..with an adjective.

When you rename the subject of a sentence, it's called the "predicate nominative". Predicate nominatives are preceded by "being" verbs. (am, is, are was, were, be, being, etc.)

So, when I say that "Jesus is truth"..I'm renaming Him. Not describing Him.
