days 14 & 15 (sorry)

Yesterday, after being out of my house since Saturday, I was really tired and fell asleep before I had the chance to continue in my "blogging journey".

Anyways..

Day 14:

Write about something I believe in, anything at all.

Hmm..

Anything at all..

I believe in agape love. Complete, untarnished love. God is it, Christ showed it, Paul wrote about it, and people search the world over for it. In reality, no one can ever, EVER love you the way God does! It's that love that saves us from an eternity separated from God. While men and women try to love each other, it can never be perfect, agape love. Never. Isn't that what everyone looks for? Love? Companionship? Lots of people look in all the wrong places, and come back unsatisfied every single time. Others actually find that love. Not in the form of a job, a possession, some money, or a spouse but on a cross. Putting it simply, we were ALL literally on death's doorstep. Everyone of us guilty of a lifetime of sin. Death owned us. BUT. God loved us so fully, so completely, so perfectly that He sent His only Son to go through that door for us. Amazing, right? Yeah...that's not all. Instead of just dying for our sins, Christ offers us an eternal home in heaven. "Yeah, right. The God of the universe has a home made for me." Yeah, He does! To top that off, (yeah there's more!) God doesn't merely see us as creatures that needed saving, He now sees us as adopted sons and daughters! What?! I'm sorry, but you can't find that offer "in stores" or "online". When you accept the FREE gift of Salvation found through Jesus Christ, you gain so much more than just forgiveness. WOW..should be the word coming to mind, right about now. Yep, it's love.

"The Love of God is greater far than tongue or pen can EVER tell.."

Day 15:

A song that makes me cry and why.

Well, Dear John and Back to December by Taylor Swift made me cry a few times. I cried the first time I heard Miserable at Best by Mayday Parade. Other than that, I can't really think of a song that has made me cry. Usually, I don't emotionally invest in sad music ;) I'm a Justin Bieber girl. No crying here! Anyways, I cried when I listened to Dear John  because I could relate. You know..finding out that someone's using you isn't exactly cause for joy :P Back to December was more me being my good 'ole dramatic self..although..I think it's a sad song. Miserable at Best is another song that's just really relative for me. Thankfully, I don't intend to be "miserable at best" over some guy. Lame. ;)
