Day 53:
My day in great detail.
Ok, so my day began at quarter to eleven..with my dad and sister telling my friend, Morgan Jones, to wake me up. It worked. Five to ten minutes later, Morgan and I proceeded upstairs to eat..brunch..(cause there was no way that was breakfast). I had Mountain Dew Voltage (great wake up call) and a homemade Cookies & Cream cupcake. Not the healthiest breakfast in the world..but no matter..it wasn't breakfast ;)
About ten minutes later, Jon (my brother) and Joshua (Morgan's brother) arrived back from their every-other-monthly-or-every-monthly Bible Study. Within five minutes of their arrival, Joshua and Morgan left..(important stuff to do at their house). After they left, I basically walked around the house looking for things to do but never actually did anything. (You know what I mean).
I crashed on my bed for maybe half an hour checking internet..things. Email. Facebook. Twitter. Etc.
By this point, my brother had gone to a friend's house to hang out/watch the Duke and Carolina game and my sister had gone to chill with one of her friends. My parents had also left to go out to G'boro (Greensboro, North Carolina :P). Yep. Sixteen year old. Home. Alone. On a Saturday. Usually, that's either the best thing in the world or the worst thing ever. Today, it was bad.
..
Well, I couldn't go back to sleep and TV wasn't really enticing...so, I did some....
Algebra 2..:P
SO MUCH FUN! :(
I didn't just crack my Math book open for an hour or two either. I did Algebra..from around 2-6.
Like I said, I was home..alone..on a Saturday.
Of course, around 4 or so, I took a break and rewarded myself with an episode of One Tree Hill (courtesy of Netflix). Yeah, One Tree Hill has been my "thing" lately.
After I gave up on Math, I took a shower. After that, I came and chilled in my room and went on the computer. Again.
Around 9:30 or so, I began to watch the movie Hugo with my dad, and when that finished I took some nasal congestion medicine, came down here, got on the computer to blog..
and..
there you have my day.
Day 54:
My definition of love..
Some people define love as..
"putting someone else's needs, wants, desires..above your own.."
that's true. But..
Real love wouldn't lie. Real love wouldn't hesitate if asked to sacrifice something for someone else. Real love would even sacrifice itself for another.
The only person with love like that is Jesus.
That isn't to say, that we don't love our families..or friends. But, while we're here on this earth, our love..is flawed. It isn't complete. It isn't perfect. Yet..
One day, it will be..and then we'll know the full meaning of real love.
My beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn't know the first thing about God, because God is love—so you can't know him if you don't love. This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him. This is the kind of love we are talking about—not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they've done to our relationship with God. (1 John 4:7-10 MSG)
